Elizabeth Margaret DiPaola

Pawtucket - Elizabeth Margaret (Lund) DiPaola, 77, passed away on December 27, 2025. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Verna (McDonald) Lund.

Elizabeth worked as a Case Worker for the State of Rhode Island Unemployment Office. She also served as President of the Union of the Unemployment Office.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Kimberly Sousa of Pawtucket; grandchildren, Andrew Sousa and Ty Sousa, both of Pawtucket; her brothers-in-law, Ronald DiPaola (Gloria) and Stephen DiPaola (Janice Ribb), and several nieces and nephews, including, Kristy Colgate (Ken), Matthew DiPaola, Melissa Berube (Ed), and Christine DiMuro (Jonathan) along with five great-nieces and nephews, Delaney and Emily Berube; Conner, Sera, and Addison DiMuro and Morgan Colgate.

She was predeceased by her former husband, John S. DiPaola, and son, Tim DiPaola.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 11a.m. at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, 359 Daggett Ave, Pawtucket.

VISITATION will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 5p.m. to 7p.m.
