Eleanor T. Lepage

Seekonk - Eleanor “Ellie” T. (Webster) LePage, R.N., 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Russell F. LePage for sixty-five years. Born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late John and Emily (Tyas) Webster, she resided in Seekonk since 1954. Ellie was a 1942 graduate of Central Falls High School and a 1946 graduate of Roger Williams Nursing School, Providence. She was an Army Cadet Nurse during World War II serving at Hines Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL. Ellie was the Head Nurse at the former Notre Dame Hospital, Central Falls. She was twice nominated for Nurse of the Year in Rhode Island and received the Dr. Frist Humanitarian Award in 1986. Ellie was a communicant of the former St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Pawtucket, where she volunteered at the Church Food Closet and was also a volunteer at St. Elizabeth’s Home for the Aged.
