Eleanor M. Lapierre

Pawtucket – Eleanor M. (Roach) Lapierre, 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond W. Lapierre. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Kelly) Roach. Eleanor was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan as well as an avid golfer at Stone-E-Lea Golf Course, Attleboro. She leaves her children, Lawrence R. Lapierre and his wife, Donna of Attleboro and Kathleen M. Sokolik and her husband, Don of Weston, FL; three grandchildren, Michelle Mooza, Jonathan Sokolik and Jared Hamm and a great-grandson, Nicholas Sokolik. She was the sister of the late Ernest, Louis and Peggy. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
