Eleanor L. Hayes

Seekonk – Eleanor “Ellie” L. (Corrigan) Hayes, 77, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Monday, June 16, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Raymond F. Hayes for 58 years. Born in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Francis, Sr. and Blanche (Desrosiers) Corrigan. Ellie was a Directress of Religious Education at various parishes throughout the Dioceses of Fall River and Providence for over 23 years until her retirement. She was an active member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish Music Ministry and Women’s Guild. Ellie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. Besides her loving husband, she leaves five children, Patricia A.
