Eleanor S. Egan

Seekonk – Eleanor S. (Schmieder) Egan, 94, formerly of Haig Ave., passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis W. Egan. Born in Newark, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Albert and Frieda Schmieder, she resided in Seekonk over sixty years. Eleanor was a communicant of the former St. Mary’s Church, Seekonk and a member of it’s Women’s Group. She leaves a son, William F. Egan and his wife, Kimberly of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; a brother, Herbert Schmieder of New Jersey; two grandchildren, Michael Egan of Atlanta, Georgia and Elizabeth Egan of Boston, Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews.
