Elaine B. Swistak

Cumberland – Elaine B. (Agaty) Swistak, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late John L. Swistak. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Moussab) Agaty. Elaine resided in Pawtucket most of her life before moving to Cumberland in 2016. She had been employed by the Pawtucket School Department Administration for thirty years and then in the City of Pawtucket Office of the Mayor. Elaine had been an associate at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket, and most recently was employed at the Leon A. Mathieu Senior Center, Pawtucket. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church and a devoted member St. Mary’s Choir and Ladies Society. Elaine leaves two daughters, Andrea M. Swistak and her spouse, Annie Galovich of Brooklyn, New York and Stephanie J. Swistak of Providence; her sister-in-law, Elaine H. Agaty of Pawtucket; her former son-in-law, Jeff Caplan and fourteen nieces and nephews and their families. ...
