Elaine A. Holmes

Pawtucket - Elaine A. (Doucet) Holmes, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of John T. Holmes III for thirty-seven years. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Amelia (Mitchell) Doucet. Elaine was avid in her passion for traveling, cooking, arts and crafts, the beach, animals, and above all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by two children, Renee Holbrook and Michael Yelle, both of Pawtucket; two stepchildren, John Holmes IV of Pawtucket, and the late Patricia Camara; seven grandchildren, Andrea Ware of Pawtucket, Crystal Jordan of Rockland, MA, Sarah Kaiser of Uxbridge, MA, Alex Yelle of North Providence, John Holmes V of Pawtucket, Alyssa Holmes, also of Pawtucket, and Leah Holmes of Hope; nine great-grandchildren, and a brother Edmond Doucet and his wife, Judi, of Fayetteville, NC.
