Eileen M. Olson

Pawtucket – Eileen M. (Moran) Olson, 79, entered her eternal life surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 6, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Eileen was the beloved wife of fifty years to the love of her life, Lester R.

She was the loving mother of Crystalyn M.

Gilman and her husband, Adam, of Warwick and Cheryl L.

Olson of Pawtucket, and the cherished sister of Kathleen M.

Albanese and her husband, Gene, of Johnston and the late John P.

Eileen was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Patrick J. and Margaret M. (Shaw) Moran.

She was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren, Monica, Charlette, Sean, Gloria, Selena, Miley, Luke, Isabella, Dennis and Anya.

Eileen had resided in East Providence before returning to Pawtucket where she resided most of her life.

She was a graduate of East Providence High School and The University of Rhode Island.

Eileen was employed as an underwriter at FM Global (Allendale Insurance) for thirty-eight years until retiring.

She loved her family and the many family gatherings they shared.

Camping with her children was filled with wonderful memories.

In her later years, she was an avid traveler, especially with her senior groups, the Fun Seekers and Rhody Red Hatters.

Her funeral will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church of St.

John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Mt.

Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

VISITATION will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St.

Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St.

Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 would be appreciated.
