Edward "Ted" T. Roy

Norton – Edward “Ted” T. Roy, 95, formerly of North Attleboro, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, July 30, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Irene M. (Amyot) Roy. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Elphege and Emma (Sweetland) Roy. Ted was a United States Army veteran of World War II, having served in both Northern France and Normandy. He worked for the Robison Rayon Company, Inc., Pawtucket for 30 years prior to working for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement. Ted was a charter member of the South Attleboro Council, Knights of Columbus and enjoyed playing golf and cards with his friends at Stone-E-Lea Golf Course, Attleboro. He leaves four daughters and their husbands, Mary Ellen and Dr. Walter Reeder, Norma and Richard Mathieu all of Loudon, TN, Karen and Daniel Lamond of Cumberland, RI, Tracey and Steven Kiley of Norton, MA; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
