Seekonk – Edward Seropian, 95, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 29, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose (Hoogasian) Seropian. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Roupene and Elizabeth (Oozoonian) Seropian. Ed was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a longtime member of Saints Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church, Providence. He served on the Parish Council and also worked for about forty years in the kitchen for the Hokejash, picnic and bazaar committees. Ed could always be found every Sunday, against the wall, in the back of the church. He leaves a son, Robert E. Seropian and his wife, Cynthia in Florida; a daughter, Katherine A. Seropian of Seekonk; two grandchildren, Erika Silva and Rachel Seropian and many nieces and nephews. Ed was the father of a late infant son, James Seropian and brother of the late Haig and Saco Seropian. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
