Edward E. Paradis

North Dighton, MA – Edward “Red” E. Paradis, 84, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 15, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marie R. (Ledoux) Paradis for sixty-five years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Aldor and Beatrice (Peloquin) Paradis. Ed completed his early education at St. Cecilia’s School and was a graduate of the former East High School, Pawtucket. In 1957 he married his sweetheart, Marie, and together they raised four beautiful children in North Dighton, MA. Ed was employed by Canteen Corporation for forty years before retiring in 2001. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph’s/St. Nicholas of Myra’s Catholic Church in North Dighton. His favorite hobbies included reading books, listening to music, and playing cards with family and friends. He was a wonderful dancer, “Dad and Mom would hold the spotlight when they took to the dance floor and danced the jitterbug!” He had a love of life that was contagious. Spending time with his wife...
