Edward A. Nacci

Providence – Edward A. Nacci, 89, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Eugenio and Rose (Scorpio) Nacci. Edward worked as a laborer for the City of Providence for many years until his retirement several years ago. He enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with his family. In his younger years he was very athletic and even played Triple A baseball for the International League. Edward leaves three daughters, Sarah Lotring of Hebron, CT, Linda Gilheeney of Providence and Jacqueline Nacci of Wakefield; a brother, Gene Nacci in North Carolina; a sister, Roberta McGinn of East Greenwich; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ann DiMichael, Mae Altruda, Dave, Joseph and Buddy Nacci. VISITATION will begin on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by Services at Noon at WILLIAM W.
