Smithfield - Edward “Eddie” A.

LaVigne, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in Smithfield, Rhode Island.

Born on May 2, 1960, he was a son of Antionette (Hart) LaVigne of Pawtucket and the late Edward F.

Eddie was the beloved husband of Sandra Parrillo for forty-two loving years.

Eddie worked for many years as a mechanical technician in the pharmaceutical industry and had a profound love for the game of golf and spending time outdoors.

Above all, Eddie was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He will be fondly remembered as a man of great humor (to some) and wisdom.

Beside his beloved wife, Eddie leaves two children, Jeffrey LaVigne and his fiancée, Alyssa Benetti of Coventry, and Alexandra Tift and her husband, Nicholas, of West Warwick; three grandchildren, Charlotte and Camden Tift and Jack LaVigne; two siblings, Elizabeth LaVigne of Coventry, and Robert LaVigne and his wife Lisa, of Lincoln and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Julia LaVigne.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 27th at 10 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 26th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
