Edward J. Garrity, Sr.

Naples, FL – Edward J. Garrity, Sr., 80, formerly of S. Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary P. (Packer) Garrity for forty-four years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Robert, Sr., and Ann (Trakimas) Garrity. Edward was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a helicopter mechanic during his service. He resided most of his life in S. Attleboro, MA, prior to relocating to Florida over twenty years ago. Edward worked as a truck driver for City Packing Company, Boston, MA, for many years prior to retiring. He enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by two sons, Edward J. Garrity, Jr. and his wife, Tomoko, of South Carolina and Jason E.
