Pawtucket – Edward “Mr. Ed” Raposa, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Sweeney) Raposa for forty-four years. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Cabral) Raposa. Edward resided in Bristol before moving to Pawtucket forty-four years ago. He was a superintendent for the Perini Construction Company, Framingham, where he worked on the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant before retiring in 1982, and was previously employed by the Pawtucket Redevelopment Agency. He had also been a member of the Park Police, a direct affiliate of the Rhode Island State Police and also the Bristol Police Reserve. Edward was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and enjoyed woodworking and cooking.
