Attleboro – Edward A. Courchene, 80, of South Attleboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth M. (Beaulieu) Courchene for 59 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Eugene Courchene and Albertine (Picard) Dubois. He was the step-son of the late Emile Dubois. Edward was a United States Air Force veteran and worked as an extruder operator in the paper industry for many years until retiring. He was an avid sports enthusiast and especially enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Besides his beloved wife, he leaves a loving daughter, Karen E. Courchene of South Attleboro; five siblings, Janice Strahan and Charlene Lawless both of The Villages, FL, Norman Courchene of Jacksonville, FL, Barry Dubois of Cumberland and Robert Lindsey in Virginia and many nieces and nephews.
