Edward Thomas Barlog, Sr., 55, of East Providence and formerly of Pawtucket, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015. Born in Pawtucket, a beloved son of the late Stephen and Eleanor (Ginty) Barlog, he resided in Pawtucket until moving to East Providence four months ago. Edward attended Joseph Jenks Junior High School and William E. Tolman High School. He retired from the Reliable Security Guard Agency, Inc. as an armed Lieutenant and acting Captain. Edward was previously employed by Colberts Detective Agency, Inc.; Blackstone Security; Crown Collision; Jim’s Towing for eighteen years; New England Paper Tube Company, Inc.; Berger & Company; Stateline Scrap Company, Inc. and had also been a cook at the Players Corner Pub, Providence.
