Edith "Edie" Karneeb

Pawtucket – Edith “Edie” (Farrington) Karneeb, 96, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 28, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late James G. Karneeb. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late John and Irene (Smith) Farrington. Edie was a floor supervisor at Health-Tex for 37 years until her retirement and was a member of the Queen Esther Chapter #2, Order of the Eastern Star, Pawtucket. Edie leaves a daughter, Lynn H. Karneeb of Pawtucket; a brother, William Farrington of Miami, FL, three sisters, Josephine McGregor of Boulder City, CO, Geraldine Farrington of Richmond, RI and Shirley Fishlock of The Village, FL and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late James and Jack Farrington and Frances Saunders. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Requiem Eucharist on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 490 Broadway, Pawtucket. Interment will be private.
