Edith A. Horton

Seekonk – Edith A. (Aspinall) Horton, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Horton. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late William and Hannah M. (Fletcher) Aspinall, she resided in Seekonk since 1944. Edith leaves two daughters, Roberta L. “Robin” Miller of Seekonk and Linda M. Lague and her husband, Leo of Uxbridge; two sons, Robert W. Horton, Jr. and his wife, Maria of West Warwick and Richard E. Horton, Sr. and his wife, Esperanza of North Kingstown; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William Aspinall, Lena Ogden and Alice Akstin. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.
