Dorothy A. Wildgoose

Attleboro – Dorothy A. (Gibney) Wildgoose, 95, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late John Wildgoose, Sr. who passed away 34 years ago.  A lifelong resident of North Attleboro but recently moved to assisted living facility Christopher Heights in Attleboro for the past three and a half years, she was a daughter of the late Richard, Sr. and Mary (Gray) Gibney.  Dorothy worked as a machinist at the Hilsinger Company in Plainville for many years until her retirement.  In her 70’s she worked for the Arc of Attleboro taking care of the disabled.  She had 2 favorite clients Bernice and Eleanor whom she took care of for many years.  She loved to play cards and travel to Florida to visit her cousins the Armell family (she actually lived there for a few years when she retired).  She had done some traveling in the last few years with her sister Gert and niece Jo-Ann in the New England area.  It was always an adventure.  She loved her TEA! – boiling hot, 2 bags and squeezed them...
