Dorothy H. Salois

Rehoboth – Dorothy H. (Read) Salois, 87, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 5, 2013. She was the beloved wife of H. Lindor “Lindy” Salois for sixty-three years. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, a daughter of the late Thomas I. and Sarah Alice (Smith) Read, she resided in Pawtucket before moving to Rehoboth in 1962. Dorothy was a member of the Darlington Congregational Church for over sixty years. She had served as a Deaconess and also ran the church nursery for fifteen years. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Linda D. Sherman of Taunton and Carol E. Estrella and her husband John of Baird, Texas; twin sons, Michael G. Salois and his wife Karen of Rehoboth and Daniel R. Salois and his wife Nicole of Roseville, California; a brother, Kenneth I. Read of Pawtucket; two sisters, Edith A. Read and Irene B.
