Dorothy M. Palana

Seekonk – Dorothy M. (Taipe) Palana, 94, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Palana, William Barry and John Enos. Born in Providence, the daughter of the late J. Howard and Mary (Lannon) Taipe, she resided in Seekonk since 1981. Dorothy was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Seekonk; former member of the Women’s Guild and a member and past-president of the parish Senior Saints. She was also a member of the Red Hat Mamas of Seekonk. Dorothy was a former volunteer of Beta Community Services, R.S.V.P. and a member of the former Seekonk Gardener’s Club. She leaves two brothers-in-law, John V. Palana of Pawtucket and Frank J. Palana of Providence; a god-daughter and many beloved nieces, nephews and dear friends. Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
