Dorothy A. Leonard

Pawtucket – Dorothy A. (Altonian) Leonard, 87, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Michael F. Leonard for fifty-six years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Charles V. Altonian and Agnes S. (Orr) Altonian-Hall. Dorothy had been employed by the American Textile Company and Hasbro. She was a former member of St. Mary’s Bowling League. Besides her husband, she leaves her sister, Gladys V. DeLuca of Stuart, Florida; her brother, Charles V. Altonian of Seekonk and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary J. Merow, Isabella C. Cote and Agnes M. Hereth. Dorothy’s family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the caring staff at the Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she had recently resided. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Redwood Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Interment will follow. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.
