Dorothy M. Laprade

Pawtucket – Dorothy M. (Gaughan) Laprade, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Evans) Gaughan. Dorothy was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, who treasured spending time with her family. She leaves seven children, Dorothy Rivard and her husband, Michael of Pawtucket, Therese Marques and her late husband, Walter of Mapleville, Norma Laprade of Pawtucket, Norman Laprade of Woonsocket, Nancy Saggerson and her husband, Richard of Cumberland, Leo Laprade and his wife, Arlene of Pawtucket and Robin Trybowski and her late husband, Arthur in Connecticut. She also leaves many grand and great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be Friday at 8 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
