Dorothy E. Hicks

Attleboro - Dorothy E. (Entwistle) Hicks, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis S. Hicks. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Florence M. (Ward) Entwistle. Dorothy had resided in Norton before moving to Attleboro in 1968. She had been employed by Sturdy Memorial Hospital and Sturdy Associates for many years until retiring. Dorothy enjoyed painting and being a member of the ladies painting group in Attleboro. But most of all, she loved time spent on the beach on Cape Cod. She leaves three children and their spouses, Richard F. and Lori Hicks of Rehoboth, Brian R. and Susan Hicks of Seekonk and Sharyn R. and Kevin Farrow of Attleboro; four grandchildren, Ryan Hicks and his wife, Michelle, Austin Hicks, Cameron Farrow and Nicholas Farrow and a great-granddaughter, Aubreigh Hicks. Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Seekonk...
