Dorothy M. Hannaford

Providence – Dorothy “Dot” “Dottie” M.

Hannaford, 88, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Paul F. and Eliza C. (Andrews) Hannaford.

Dottie grew up in Pawtucket and worked at the former FRAM, Rumford, for many years.

She was a longtime and devoted member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Pawtucket.

Dottie enjoyed singing, bowling and swimming.

She loved her women’s barbershop chorus – Harmony Heritage.

She looked forward to her summers in Maine.

She started going with her mother and continued each year into her 80’s.

The Atlantic Inn in Ocean Park was her home away from home.

Family came to visit with her for a few weeks during her stay.

Holidays were spent with her sister’s families.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was the sister of the late Francis, John, and Lois Hannaford.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Epworth United Methodist Church, 915 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with her late parents at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Johnston, will be private.

Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.

Memorial donations to Epworth United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
