Dorothy "Dot" E. Lafond

Pawtucket – Dorothy “Dot” E. (Stewart) Lafond, 94, left the Earth peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 24, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Delphis “Del” E. Lafond. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Abbie (Northup) Stewart. Dot lived in North Providence before moving to Pawtucket, where she resided most of her life. She worked at the Pawtucket Dress Corp. as a payroll bookkeeper and previously worked at the Lincoln Dress Corp. Dot was a communicant of the Church of St. Leo the Great, Pawtucket, for over 50 years and a longtime member of the St. Leo Senior Citizens Club. She loved to sew; crochet; knit and complete crossword puzzles. Dot also loved living life to the fullest with her friends and family, traveling; singing and dancing.
