Dorothy Donahue

Pawtucket – Dorothy (LaFountaine) Donahue, 86, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of Albert and Irene (McKeon) LaFountaine and the former wife of Robert M. Donahue, Sr. Dottie was a housekeeper at the Memorial Hospital of RI for many years until retiring. She enjoyed gardening and yard sales. Mother of Robert Donahue, Diane Walsh, James Donahue, Nancy Ullmann and Jeffrey Donahue. Sister of Irene Ashworth, Marion Fahey, Albert LaFountaine, Gertrude Deautt, Joseph LaFountaine, William LaFountaine, Kenneth LaFountaine, James LaFountaine, Nancy Messier and Geraldine McVay. She has 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
