Dorothy Callahan

Cumberland – Dorothy (McGeehan) Callahan, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late William F. Callahan, Jr. for fifty-three years. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Wilde) McGeehan. Dorothy graduated from Pawtucket East High School in 1951 and continued her education in nursing. She worked as a maternity nurse at the former Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket, and truly loved taking care of her patients. Dorothy later worked for the late Dr. Richard Levrault, Sr., Seekonk, for ten years before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, traveling and playing cards.
