Dorothy A. Brown

Pawtucket – Dorothy A. (Drake) Brown, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2013.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick V.

Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Timothy J. and Lottie E. (Lamorine) Drake.

Dorothy worked as a dietary aid at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island for over 10 years until her retirement.

She also worked at and was a volunteer for the Salvation Army Home League since the late 1960’s, doing charitable work and bell ringing during the Christmas Season.

Dorothy leaves a son, Timothy J.

Brown and his wife Karen Kalil Brown of Bedford, MA.

She was the sister of the late James Drake.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Raymond Church, 1240 North Main St., Providence.

Committal Services will follow at St.

VISITATION will be Sunday 2 to 5 p.m.
