Dorothy M. Bessette

Pawtucket – Dorothy M. (Robarge) Bessette, 84, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Pauline (Bizon) Robarge. Dorothy worked as a merchandiser for Warren Oils and Equity for many years until her retirement. She was a hard worker and avid football fan, who enjoyed spending time with her family by the lakes of both New Hampshire and Maine. Dorothy also enjoyed playing golf on various leagues over the years. She leaves her devoted and longtime companion and dedicated caregiver, Elizabeth Peckham of Pawtucket, a son, Stephen Bessette of North Providence and a grandson, Shane Bessette of Pawtucket. She was the mother of the late Normand Bessette, Jr. and the grandmother of the late Benjamin Bessette. Her Funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 699 Central Ave. Interment will follow at...
