Doris H. Summerly

Pawtucket – Doris H. (Duclos) Summerly, 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 25, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of the late William M.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Julia (Nadeau) Duclos.

A longtime resident of Pawtucket, Doris dedicated her life to raising her children and tending to their home.

She was a faithful communicant of the former Church of St.

Leo the Great for many years.

Doris enjoyed hosting weekly gatherings with her siblings, which included playing Scrabble, card games and making puzzles.

She is survived by five children, Janet M.

Summerly of New Jersey, Philip J.

Summerly of California, William J.

Summerly of Pawtucket, Robert E.

Summerly, also of Pawtucket, and Alan P.

Summerly of Seekonk; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

She was the last survivor of her twelve siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with her late husband will follow at St.

Stephen Cemetery, Attleboro.

Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.
