Doris M. Jameson-Strachan

Pawtucket – Doris M. (Binette) Jameson-Strachan, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Jameson and the late Clifford G. Strachan. Born in Danielson, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Yvonne (St. Pierre) Binette. Doris enjoyed contributing to her community and was active within many organizations, including the former Eugene T. Lefebvre, VFW Post 1271 of Central Falls, where she was a life member. She was also the trustee of the Major Walter G. Gatchell, VFW Post 306 of Pawtucket, and the American Legion, Auxiliary Post 14 of Cumberland, where she was a longtime member. Doris also held membership with St. Aidan Senior Club, Notre Dame Senior Alumni and St. Teresa Senior’s Club. She was an avid reader who enjoyed playing piano and guitar as well as dancing, singing, and yodeling. Among her many talents, she also enjoyed the arts and loved to crochet, knit, paint and garden.
