She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Fagan. Born in Pawtucket, she was the youngest of six children of Samuel and Amy (Bird) Dawson. A communicant of St. Teresa Church, Doris lived most of her life in Pawtucket with her late husband and children. She dedicated her life to raising her family, especially her youngest daughter, who is able to thrive due to her mothers loving care. Doris enjoyed being involved with organizations that made a difference in the lives of children living with disabilities, including Meeting Street School and the ARC of Blackstone Valley. She also enjoyed crocheting, traveling and especially dancing.
