Attleboro – Doris M. (Smith) Carroll, 94, formerly of Pawtucket and Brooksville, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of the late Roland E.
Carroll, for 68 loving years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Albert S. and Sarah A. (McMahon) Smith.
In her younger days, Doris served on the PTA at St.
Leo the Great School, Pawtucket and was a member of the parish’s Duckpin Bowling League.
Doris was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved grand and great-grandchildren.
She leaves three daughters, and their husbands, Sharlene F.
Roy and her husband, Armand, of Attleboro, Donna M.
Denelle and her husband, Robert, of South Attleboro and Debra L.
Ruthowski and her husband, James, of Pawtucket; Six grandchildren, Eric J.
Lugo; two sisters, Helen Doane of Westport and Alberta Smith of Albion; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Veronica Smith, Frances Smith, Sally Hendersen, James Smith, Albert Smith and Arthur Smith.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery will be private.
VISITATION will be Tuesday, 4 to 7 p.m.
