Doris M. Begin

Providence – Doris M. (Nield) Begin, 86, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late James C. and Edith D. (Massey) Nield, she resided in Providence for many years. Doris was employed in the Accounting Dept. at Davol, Inc. for over fifty years until retiring. She was a member of the Greystone Primitive Methodist Church and a former choir organist and director. She was also a former organist and choir director at the Hebron United Methodist Church, Attleboro. She leaves her sister-in-law, Janice Wunschel Nield; her niece, Tina Cabral and her husband, Donald and their children, Haley and Sylas. She was the sister of the late Earl J. Nield. Visitation will begin Friday at 11 a.m. followed by Services at 1 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
