Donald H. Parker, Sr.

Pawtucket – Donald H. Parker, Sr., 62, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 14, 2014. He was the longtime companion of Nancy A. Russell. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Frank W., Jr. and Elizabeth (Nixon) Parker. Don was a longtime volunteer for the Darlington Braves, having served on the Executive Board and as the Equipment Manager. He was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. Don enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Besides his companion, he leaves two sons, Donald H. Parker, Jr. and his wife, Alicia of Pawtucket and Nicholas A. Parker and his wife, Christina of Cumberland; four step-children, John, Annabelle, Jim and Jennifer; five brothers, Frank W. III, John, Robert, Bruce and Edward Parker; two sisters, Deborah Prior and Susan Landry; twenty grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
