Donald Robert Davis

Pawtucket - Donald R. “Stretch” Davis, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Frank and Edica (Moore) Davis and the brother of the late Dorothy E. Ward of Seekonk. Don resided in Pawtucket most of his life before moving to the Boston area after his retirement. He was a technician at the former Darlington Lanes for thirty-three years until it’s closing in 1990, he then worked part-time at Spirit Recognition until retiring in 1998. He is survived by three nephews, Thomas R. Ward and his wife, Ursula, of Baltimore, MD, Robert D. Ward and his husband, Felipe Cristo, of Roslindale, MA and Richard F. Ward and his partner, Harrison Carmichael, of Walpole, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, March 7th at 10 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1 Rhode Island Ave., Johnston, RI.
