Donald O. Cummings

South Attleboro – Donald O. Cummings, 80, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Vivian B. (Lavallee) Cummings for sixty loving years. Born in Buffalo, New York, he was a son of the late Orrin and Marguerite (Caouette) Cummings. Don attended school in Pawtucket and went on to serve in the United States Army as a paratrooper. He worked for General Motors and retired from GM after twenty-eight years of service. Don enjoyed many pastimes including, bowling, darts, and playing cards. He was the past-president of the South Attleboro White Hawks and past-treasurer of the Attleboro High Booster Club. Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who always put his family first. He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched over the past eighty years.
