Cummings, 80, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.

He was the beloved husband of Vivian B. (Lavallee) Cummings for sixty loving years.

Born in Buffalo, New York, he was a son of the late Orrin and Marguerite (Caouette) Cummings.

Don attended school in Pawtucket and went on to serve in the United States Army as a paratrooper.

He worked for General Motors and retired from GM after twenty-eight years of service.

Don enjoyed many pastimes including, bowling, darts, and playing cards.

He was the past-president of the South Attleboro White Hawks and past-treasurer of the Attleboro High Booster Club.

Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who always put his family first.

He will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched over the past eighty years.

Besides his beloved wife, Don leaves a daughter, Karen (Cummings) Edington of North Attleboro; two sons, Michael Cummings and his wife, Valentina (Curtis) Cummings, of South Attleboro and Kevin Cummings and his wife, Catherine (Marchant) Cummings, of North Attleboro; six grandchildren, Jason, Jamie, Alysha, Keghan, Kylie and Autumn; four great-grandchildren, Zachary, Joseph, Mariah and Kason; two sisters, Shirley (Cummings) Satti and Dorothy (Cummings) Ludwig and many nieces and nephews.

He was the grandfather of the late Jennifer Gabriel; brother of the late Bruce Corey and Evelyn (Corey) Doane and uncle of the late John Satti and Sharon Ludwig.

Due to current Covid-19 Restrictions, visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.

A limited number of relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St.

Theresa Church, 18 Baltic St., South Attleboro at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private.
