Passarelli, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of Stephen Luther.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis, Sr. and Grace (Fratello) Passarelli.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, Dolores graduated in 1970 from the former Sacred Heart High School.

She continued her education at Rhode Island College where she earned a Master of Education degree in 1978.

Dolores worked as the Director of the Office of Academic Support for Rhode Island College and has held many positions there over the past forty-five years.

In 2011 she received the Bourget Award of Merit for her contributions to Rhode Island College Athletics and was also named the OASIS' director emerita in 2019.

She was an outstanding mentor, counselor and friend who impacted many lives throughout her career.

Dolores was an animal lover at heart who enjoyed camping at Hide-Away-Cove Family Campground, taking rides along the coast and spending time with family and friends.

She will be fondly remembered as someone who loved life, her nieces, nephews and her dedicated work with the students and colleagues.

Besides her loving husband of twenty years, she is survived by a stepdaughter, Kathryn Packer and her husband, Josh, of West Warwick; two sisters, Lucretia Marcus of California and Michelle Passarelli of Florida and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was the sister of the late Louis Passarelli, Jr.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

VISITATION will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
