Pawtucket – Dino DeLuca, 86, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Althea (Laprey) DeLuca and the late Lois Ann (Hill) DeLuca. Born in North Providence, a son of the late Olindo and Laura (Savastano) DeLuca, he had resided in Pawtucket over sixty years. Dino was a Korean War U.S. Air Force veteran, and a member of the Howard Rogers American Legion Post No. 25, Pawtucket. He served for thirty-six years on the Pawtucket Police Department until retiring as Detective Sergeant in 1984, and was a career long member of the FOP Lodge No. 4, Pawtucket. Dino was inducted into the Pawtucket Hall of Fame on October 28, 2016. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Michael Dean DeLuca of Rumford. He was the brother of the late Olindo DeLuca, Sunday Clough, Dorothy Buteau and Louise Aspinwall. Services with Military Honors will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
