Bellingham, Massachusetts – Dimitrios A.

Stathakis, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

He was the beloved husband of Chonita Saurane Stathakis.

Born in Lemnos, Greece, he was a son of the late Argirios and Fani (Kaitazi) Stathakis.

Dimitrios had resided in Walpole before moving to Bellingham three years ago.

Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Harris Stathakis; five siblings, Elli Gianoulas, Paul Stathakis, Nicholas Stathakis, Maria Garalis and Anastasios Stathakis; many nieces and nephews in the United States, Greece and the Philippines and his father-in-law and mother-in-law also of the Philippines.

He was the brother of the late Haralambros Stathakis.

VISITATION will begin on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott St., Pawtucket, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket.
