Dauphinee, 56, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Monday, December 26, 2022.She was a devoted daughter, sister, friend, aunt, Grandma DD and loving partner to Cynthia “Cindy” Maron.

Together they have shared the past twelve years and their union is fostered by a strong, loving, and supportive relationship that culminated in marriage in 2022.

Born in Providence, on April 23, 1966, Dianna was a daughter of Carolyn (Kirkwood) Dauphinee of Harwich, Massachusetts.

Dianna worked for many years as a human resource specialist in the geriatric healthcare sector.

In her free time, she along with Cindy enjoyed visits to many of the area’s state parks, particularly Colt State Park in Bristol, where they would share in a walk, short hike, bike ride, or simply sit by the ocean to soak up the sun and the sights.

Dianna was also considered to be somewhat of a “foodie” and loved to visit local micro-breweries to try the latest brew along with a good lobster roll.

Dianna possessed a good-spirited sense of humor, and it was accompanied by her bright and infectious smile, a smile that would light up any room.

Her memory will be cherished, and she will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she’s touched over the past fifty-six years.

Alongside her mom and her partner, Dianna leaves three siblings, Cheryl Van Gelder of Dennis, MA, Scott and Judy Dauphinee of Cranston, and Marc Dauphinee and his fiancée, Joanne Martino of East Providence; four nephews, Matthew and Nicholas Van Gelder, Adam Dauphinee, and Alexander Dauphinee; a niece, Nicole Dauphinee; Dianna’s partner’s side of the family, including Cindy’s daughter, Amanda Allen (Maron); son-in-law Zachary Allen; grandson, Milo Allen;mom, Julia Onkenhout; Cindy’s sister, Hellen Saxton and her partner, Graeme Bennie,Cindy’s brothers, Eric Onkenhout, Rob Onkenhout and his family in Japan and Cindy’s nephew and nieces, Mike Saxton and his family, Jessica Budge and her family, and Clayton Saxton.

In addition to her family, Dianna leaves her loving and longtime childhood friend, Linda Giogianni, and her beloved and loyal rescue dog, Lila.

Dianna was the aunt of the late Zachary Dauphinee, the sister-in-law of the late Richard Onkenhout and Nancy Dauphinee,and the adoptive mom of her late kitty’s Vada and Blackie.

Relatives and friends are encouraged to attend a Celebration of Dianna’s Life on Thursday, January 5th at the Hope Artiste Village, 1005 Main St., Pawtucket, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

This celebration will be a fitting way to create a tribute to the impact that Dianna has imprinted onto our lives and memories.
