Diane D. Lawton

Pawtucket – Diane D. (Laporte) Lawton, 60, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at home.

She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin J.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Arthur L. and Lucille T. (Maurice) Laporte.

Diane was a CNA and worked in the home healthcare field for many years.

She was a longtime volunteer at the St.

Joseph Church (Holy Family Parish) Food Pantry and enjoyed cooking and entertaining her family and friends at her home in Pawtucket.

Diane also loved watching the Golden Girls and listening to Elvis.

Above all, Diane was a devoted and loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves two daughters, Lynn Chatelle of Cumberland and Kerri Chatelle and her husband, Brad Bailey of Pawtucket and three siblings, Richard Laporte of Scituate, Rachel Laporte of Coventry and Normand Laporte of Cranston.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St.

Joseph Church, 854 Providence St., West Warwick.

Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.
