Bruneau, Jr., 77, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
He was the beloved husband of Elaine M. (Ryan) Bruneau.
The couple had been married for fifty-two loving years.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Dewey E., Sr. and Dorothy E. (Thomas) Bruneau.
Dewey had resided in Pawtucket before moving to Attleboro eleven years ago.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Dewey was a machinist at Ecological Fibers, Pawtucket, for twenty years, he was most recently employed by Target, Attleboro, until retiring in 2017.
Dewey was a lifetime member of the IDIP Club, Pawtucket.
He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and loved the beach and walks at Colt State Park.
Dewey loved the Christmas season to the point that his celebration was carried throughout the year.
But most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves a son, Kevin Bruneau and his wife, Candi, of Pawtucket; two daughters, Elaine Bodick and her husband, Kevin, of Seekonk and Kristen Allard of Pawtucket; six grandchildren, Courtney, Kevin, Hailey, Joshua, Ryan and Riley, and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Patricia A.
Jablonski and James D.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 8 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk.
Interment will follow at Mt.
Mary Cemetery, East Providence.
VISITATION will be Monday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
