Pawtucket – Dennis “Denny” E.

Harrop, 68, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

He was the beloved husband of Karen A. (Joyce) Harrop.

A longtime resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Edward F. and Ruth E. (Rose) Harrop.

Denny was raised in Seekonk and had also resided in North Attleboro.

He was employed by Marshall Building and Remodeling, Riverside, for forty years until retiring due to illness in January 2023.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Jeffrey D.

Harrop and his fiancée, Krykette Kowalski of Pawtucket; a grandson, Brandon J.

Harrop; a stepdaughter, Dawn M.

Conneally and her husband, John, of Cranston; two step-grandchildren, Brooke V.

Conneally and John J.

Conneally of Cranston; two brothers, Frederick F.

Harrop of Seekonk and Robert J.

Harrop and his wife, Laura Santos Harrop, of Pawtucket, and a niece, Jessica L.

His funeral will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. in St.

Cecilia Church of St.

John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Mt.

Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

VISITATION will be Thursday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
