Dennis C. Brooks

Smithfield – Dennis C. Brooks, 67, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Patti-Jo (Casey) Brooks for thirty-eight loving years. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Fredrick C. and Joan (Chaptelane) Brooks. Dennis worked as a union industrial insulator for Local #6. He was husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends. Besides his loving wife, Dennis leaves two children, Janis Maree Brooks and her fiancé, Brandon Badalato of Burrillville and Joseph Perez Brooks of Smithfield; one granddaughter, Autumn Celeste Brooks-Carter; his beloved niece, Madeline Lee Paulhus and her family, Andre, Jr., Andre, III, Rebecca and Benjamin, and he was the brother to the Amatto family from North Smithfield.
