Dennis M. Barry, Sr.

Pawtucket – Dennis M. Barry, Sr., 70, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 1, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Norma M. (Fallow) Barry for fifty years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Gordon J. and Marie Lillian (Pruneau) Cote. Dennis was a Vietnam War U.S. Army veteran. He was employed by the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority for twenty-six years before retiring as a supervisor in 1996. Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting, auto racing, camping, traveling and a cold beer. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Lisa A. Briggs and her husband, Tony, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; twin sons, Dennis M. Barry, Jr. and his wife, Sheila, and Norman W. Barry all of Pawtucket; seven grandchildren, Coriann Stewart, Andrew Spader, Brandon Barry, Alyssa Briggs, Anthony Briggs, Alyssa Barry and Dennis Barry, III and a great-grandson, Arryn Stewart.
