Pawtucket - Deborah “Deb” S. (Palmer) Nelson, 68, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, March 1st, 2024, at Miriam Hospital in Providence.
She was the beloved wife of William Nelson.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Robert D.
Palmer and Irene M. (Theroux) Pariseau.
Before her well-deserved retirement in 2022, she was at the heart of Brassworks Fine Home Details, where she worked as the Office Manager for over ten years.
At her son’s business, she was not just an employee but the company's "work mom," a role she embraced with her characteristic fierceness, dedication, and warmth.
Deborah's essence was one of love, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of her family.
Her hobbies included gardening, knitting, and other activities through which she expressed her creativity and care.
However, her most cherished moments were those spent with her grandchildren, Kristofor, Olivia, Brielle, Sophie, and Katalina, whom she treasured deeply.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her husband, Bill; her sons, Jeffrey Nelson and his wife, Paige of North Kingstown, Kristofor Nelson of Pawtucket; her daughter, Emily Nelson of Pawtucket; and her nephew, Cody Palmer of Rehoboth; Sister-in-law, Carol Palmer.
Deborah was preceded in death by her sibling, Robert D.
Deborah's life was a testament to the power of love, the warmth of family, and the beauty of lending a helping hand.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving memories that will be cherished and celebrated forever.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Wednesday, March 6th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by SERVICES at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Interment at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter will be private.
