Deborah "Debbie" Jane Baier

Pawtucket – Deborah “Debbie” Jane (Sladen) Baier, R.N., 59, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, March 16, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Claus Baier for 33 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Thomas “Leo” L. Jr. and Jane (Rowse) Sladen of Pawtucket. Debbie was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island School of Nursing. Besides her loving husband and parents, Debbie leaves a son, John T. Baier of Pawtucket; three brothers, Thomas L. Sladen, III and his wife, Barbara of Seekonk, Paul W. Sladen and his wife, Cathy of East Providence and Michael S. Sladen of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be private. VISITATION will be Wednesday 5 to 8 p.m. If desired, memorial gifts to the American Heart Association, P.O.
